Airplane!

Not the classic comedy movie, the classic reality - WWII. Wilder and daddy went to see the Paul Allen vintage airplane collection. He has restored to near perfection and with as much authenticy as is possible with unlimited resources such as his a dozen or so airplanes mostly from the WWII era. Today was one of the every-other-Saturdays that they take a couple of planes out and fly them for maintenance, since these airplanes are fully operational specimens and are among the very few remaining in existence. It was amazing to see the Russian rat and Hawker Hurricane start up their engines and fly wing to wing just feet over the runway.
We also got a two fire truck show of long distance spray capabilities, stood a stone's throw from a UPS 747, and watched a Delta 737 taxi and take off. Wilder was asleep for the Boeing Dreamlifter takeoff when we first arrived. Here he is in a moment of awe. He was probably looking at a tractor or something...
